Founder & CEO
Born and raised in a mountain village in Dhading, Nepal, Ranjita Silwal developed a deep connection to the Himalayas from an early age. She began her professional journey as a school teacher at age 19 before transitioning into tourism operations alongside her family. Over the years, she managed pre-tour orientations, client logistics, and field operations for reputable agencies, building over a decade of hands-on experience in the industry. Driven by a vision for ethical travel, she established Best Trek and Adventure as its Founder and CEO to offer authentic, reliable, and meticulously organized Himalayan journeys.
Academically, Ranjita holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, specializing in Nepali literature, culture, and history. Her leadership extends beyond commercial operations into deep community impact as a founding member of AHRD Nepal, an NGO dedicated to expanding education, health awareness, and social support for marginalized Chepang villages in Dhading. Today, she seamlessly combines her passion for Himalayan tourism with a lifelong commitment to social work and sustainable community development across rural Nepal.
Prakash Aryal

With 17 years of hands-on experience in Himalayan tourism, Prakash Aryal founded Best Trek and Adventure to deliver transparent, high-quality, and authentic travel experiences across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. Based in Kathmandu, he established the agency with a clear commitment to traveler safety, personal care, and uncompromised service standards.
Over nearly two decades in the industry, Prakash has mastered every facet of mountain logistics and expedition planning. He specializes in designing custom high-altitude treks, cultural heritage tours, wildlife safaris, and luxury helicopter excursions tailored to each traveler’s unique pace and interests—whether organizing first-time journeys to Everest Base Camp or coordinating complex multi-country itineraries.
Known for his deep local roots and detail-oriented leadership, he personally oversees daily operations to guarantee honest pricing, rigorous safety protocols, and seamless logistics from arrival to departure. Driven by a passion for ethical travel and authentic hospitality, Prakash remains dedicated to providing reliable guidance and helping every guest build meaningful, lifelong memories in the Himalayas.

From the Terathum district in eastern Nepal, Mr. Dulal moved to Kathmandu to pursue higher education, launching his career in Nepal’s tourism industry in 2012. After gaining hands-on hospitality experience managing a prominent tourist hotel, he earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Tribhuvan University. To further specialize in field operations, he completed his professional Tour Guide Diploma at NATHAM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management) in 2017.
Today, Mr. Dulal serves as a licensed tour guide and trip operator at Best Trek and Adventure. He specializes in leading UNESCO World Heritage tours, cultural excursions, and historical journeys across Nepal. Combining academic background, certified hospitality training, and a commitment to responsible tourism, he designs and guides enriching, well-organized itineraries that give travelers deep local insights into Nepal’s heritage.
Jeevan Chhyantyal

From the scenic Baglung district near Pokhara, Jeevan Chhyantyal developed a natural affinity for mountain exploration from an early age. He is a government-licensed trekking guide trained at NATHAM (Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management) in Kathmandu. Fluent in English with conversational proficiency in Chinese, Jeevan is widely recognized for his honest, client-focused approach and clear communication with international travelers.
Serving as a high-altitude guide at Best Trek and Adventure, Jeevan specializes in leading mountain expeditions across Nepal’s premier trekking regions, including Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Mustang, and Langtang. Beyond managing trail logistics and high-altitude safety with ease, he shares deep insights into regional cultures, religions, and mountain village traditions, giving every traveler a safe, authentic, and memorable Himalayan experience.

Known for his warm hospitality and calm demeanor on the trail, Jeevan is fluent in English and conversational in Chinese, effortlessly connecting with travelers from across the globe.

Growing up in the lush, hilly terrain of Khotang in eastern Nepal, Hem Bahadur Puri developed an enduring connection to the outdoors from a young age. Channeling that passion into a career in Himalayan tourism, he earned his official professional license from the Tourism Office of Bagmati Province. Today, he is widely respected for his reliability, endurance, and clear communication in English with international trekkers.
Serving as an expert trekking guide at Best Trek and Adventure, Hem is an invaluable asset on the trail, specializing in leading expeditions across the Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang regions. He goes beyond simply navigating the routes; Hem is deeply committed to mountain safety, meticulous trail logistics, and providing hands-on support. His strong knowledge of local village life and calm, capable leadership ensure that every traveler experiences a secure, well-managed, and unforgettable journey through the Himalayas.
