Best Time of the Everest View Trek
A memorable experience will depend on picking the ideal moment to set off on this adventure. The season with bright skies, comfortable temperatures, and conducive weather for trekking is considered the greatest time of year to go trekking.
Spring (March to May):
A great time to start the Everest View Trek is in the spring. In Nepal, springtime lasts from March to May. The rhododendron blooms in tones of red, pink, and white throughout this season.
Autumn and springtime temperatures are fairly similar. The sights will be even better under clearer conditions. Throughout the spring, the area hosts a number of festivals and cultural events.
Summer/Monsoon (June to August):
Because of the possibility of landslides and other problems, trekking in the summer is not advised. Heavy summertime rains make pathways slick and plagued with leeches. In the event of significant rainfall, flights to Lukla may be cancelled at any point throughout the route.
The daytime high is about 27°C, while the nighttime low is about 10°C. Trekking in these months will reward you with breathtaking views of the waterfalls on relatively empty trails.
Winter (December to February):
December through February is when the bitterly cold winters occur. As long as it’s not December, you can trek in the winter as well. But there are a number of reasons why you should give extra thought.
The trail is covered in several inches of dense snow. Despite the clear and lovely daytime with high temperatures, the midnight is severely cold. The daytime high is about 15°C, while the nighttime low is about -14°C.
Trek Difficulty
For those who are new to trekking, this is an easy trek. Trekking in the Himalayas is a very achievable experience for hikers of all ages. There are some high climbs in rough terrain involved.
Altitude sickness is unlikely because the trek does not experience particularly high altitudes. But we can’t assume that altitude sickness won’t happen. Acclimatisation also greatly benefits from consistent rest days and a lot of water consumption.
Walking for six hours a day may seem difficult, but the itinerary’s short duration will help you manage it. Strength and endurance can also be developed through cardiovascular exercises like walking, running, and trekking.
